Small blue / white clay jug with texture. This piece is hand made in Norway by Arol and is signed. It has a small chip on the handle.

About the maker

Arol was a ceramics factory in Halden, Norway, founded by Arne Georg Olsen in 1942. Olsen started Arol in his own workshop in Halden, and worked here alone during the war. Afterwards he moved the workshop to a larger facility together with ceramicist Erik Jacobsen, by 1948 there were 20 employees at Arol. Olsens son later took over Arol, Arol closed in 1979.
