Our interpretation of the hakama - traditional japanese trousers with a tie waist, adopted from the Chinese imperial court in the sixth century. The Hakama comes in one size with an adjustable tie waist. It has a wide, relaxed fit, paper-bag waist and inseam pockets. This updated version has a detachable belt, leaving you the option of using a different style belt if you please. As well as giving you more options of pleat-styles when fitting your Hakama. This version has a tapered leg, length can be customized, just state your desired inseam length at checkout. Standard length is 30”. Model is 178cm, wearing the trousers high on the waist.
